1. Put this stone and whetstone to be flattened into water for a few mins before you use and sharpen your knife or any other tool with enough water inside it.
2. After setting whetstone in  unmoved condition, rub its surface with this stone equally. 
3. Do Not drop, throw or hit it or it will be broken.
