Dairy-free beef and egg protein with collagen for real recovery.

Enhanced Primal Protein is a no-dairy protein powder with a smart setup: egg protein isolate plus hydrolyzed beef collagen for a cleaner swap from whey, with a bit of hydration help from chloride and potassium. From what we've seen in panels and online, each scoop packs 27g protein, 125 calories, 0g fat, and 0g carbs. It's all about protein without the extra baggage.

First up is HydroBeef, a hydrolyzed beef collagen from Prinova. Hydrolyzed means it's broken down into smaller bits for easy mixing and digestion, unlike chunky gelatin types. Collagen shines in sports for joint and tissue support—it's loaded with glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, the stuff that builds tendons, ligaments, cartilage, skin, and more. That's huge for lifters whose recovery isn't just about muscles. But here's the deal: collagen isn't a full protein and skimps on essentials like leucine compared to whey or egg. So it's helpful, but not the same as a complete one.

That's where egg protein isolate steps in as the game-changer. Egg is a top-notch complete protein with better essentials for muscle building than collagen solo. It turns this into a real everyday protein, not just collagen water. The catch? No breakdown on how much is HydroBeef vs. egg. Total protein's 27g, but without the split, you can't tell how much complete egg you're getting.

Enhanced Primal Protein by Enhanced contains 440mg Chloride, a clinical dose for muscle protein synthesis.

Key Highlights

  • 27g protein per scoop—that's a legit hit to fuel recovery, smash meals, and nail macros without calorie overload.
  • HydroBeef hydrolyzed beef collagen from Prinova—not some random filler. It's broken down for smooth shakes and packs glycine and proline for strong joints and tissues.
  • Egg protein isolate in the mix—makes this way better than plain collagen. It's complete, so it actually helps build muscle, not just support structure.
  • No-dairy setup—great if you dodge whey and casein but want animal proteins over plant vibes. Keeps things animal-based without the bloat.
  • 0g fat and 0g carbs per serving—total control for cuts and lean builds. Add protein without messing up your fats or carbs.
  • 125 calories per scoop—smart protein bang for the calorie buck. High yield, low energy, perfect for tracking folks.
  • 440mg chloride—real electrolyte help. It keeps fluids balanced, acids in check, and digestion smooth, way better than plain protein for sweaty sessions.
  • 225mg potassium—helps with cell fluids, nerves, and muscle pumps. Teams up with chloride and sodium for that muscle-ready vibe.

Enhanced Primal Protein by Enhanced contains 440mg Chloride, a clinical dose for muscle protein synthesis.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters ditching dairy but wanting animal protein over plants. Egg gives full aminos, HydroBeef adds joint love standard proteins skip.
  • Cutters needing big protein without fat or carbs. 27g at 125 cals, 0g everything else—fits tight plans easy.
  • Fighters and cross-trainers who bloat on whey. Beef-egg mix works for hard sessions without dairy drama.
  • Older folks staying active, eyeing muscle and joints. Egg for protein, collagen for tissue strength.
  • High-volume trainers sore in elbows, shoulders, knees. Collagen makes this better for full-body recovery than muscle-only shakes.
  • Heavy sweaters who like built-in electrolytes. 440mg chloride, 225mg potassium help fluids more than basic protein.

How to Use

Shake 1 scoop with 8-14 oz cold water for a fast protein fix. Best post-gym to bridge to your next meal, or anytime protein's low like mornings. It's protein, not stims, so size by your needs—no half-scoop test. Cold water shakes best with the collagen. Pair with fruit, oats, or rice for fuller post-workout if you go hard. Stacks great with creatine, electrolytes, or real food. No cycling—keep it daily. Store sealed, cool, and dry for best mix.

What to Expect

First 0-10 mins: just downing clean protein, no buzz—it's food, not pre. 10-30 mins: hydrolyzed collagen goes down easy, no heavy feel. Hours later, aminos from egg and collagen fuel your day's recovery. Days 1-7: consistency shines—easy 27g makes targets doable. Weeks 2-4: regular use means better habits, fuller recovery including joints. Not a wild rush; it's about sticking with it for lasting gains.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does Enhanced Primal Protein provide per serving?

Based on available product data, each 1-scoop serving provides 27g of protein with 125 calories, 0g fat, and 0g carbohydrates. That makes it a lean protein option for post-workout use or filling protein gaps between meals.

What are the protein sources in Primal Protein?

The formula uses two primary protein sources: HydroBeef hydrolyzed beef collagen from Prinova and egg protein isolate. That combination gives you a collagen-based connective tissue angle plus a complete-protein contribution from egg.

Is this a complete protein formula?

Partially. Egg protein isolate is a complete protein source, but collagen is not. Because the label does not disclose the exact amount of each source, you cannot determine precisely how much of the 27g protein comes from complete egg protein versus collagen peptides.

Why does this formula include collagen if collagen is not a complete protein?

Collagen serves a different role than complete proteins like egg or whey. It contributes amino acids such as glycine and proline that are more relevant to connective tissue structures like tendons, ligaments, and cartilage, which is why many active users specifically seek it out.

Does Enhanced Primal Protein contain dairy?

Available product context indicates it is positioned as dairy-free. That makes it useful for buyers who want an animal-based protein powder without whey or casein.

Is this product good after a workout?

Yes. With 27g protein per serving and very lean macros, it works well post-workout when you want fast, convenient protein intake without extra fats or carbohydrates. Pairing it with a carbohydrate source can make the recovery meal more complete after hard training.

What do the electrolytes do in this formula?

Primal Protein includes 440mg chloride and 225mg potassium. These electrolytes support fluid balance, nerve signaling, and muscle contraction, adding a small hydration-support benefit that plain protein powders usually do not provide.

Is this better than a pure collagen powder?

For general sports nutrition use, yes. A pure collagen powder lacks a complete amino acid profile, while this formula improves on that by including egg protein isolate. The tradeoff is that the exact source split is still undisclosed.

Can I use this instead of whey protein?

If you want a dairy-free alternative, it can absolutely fill that role. Just understand that it is not the same as a pure whey isolate formula because some of the protein comes from collagen, which has different strengths and limitations.

Does this need to be cycled?

No. This is a protein supplement, so its benefits come from consistent daily use as part of your total protein intake, not from cycling on and off like stimulant-based products.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
