The components found on the 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber such as the black anodized reservoir mounting clamp are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
An external reservoir increases the oil and nitrogen capacity of the 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber. The 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber features a metal impacted clear anodized aluminum shock body that dissipates heat faster than a regular steel body shock. The high flow damping piston combined with application specific valving results in the 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber aluminum providing your vehicle with a smooth ride.

It looks good on back of sink but would be more efficient if it were 1/2 an inch deeper. As it is, it doesn't have enough stability and tends to move about, therefore excess water may not run in sink as front edge doesn't pass over sink edge.
