Fox 987-24-003 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO Shock Absorber

The Fox 987-24-003 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO Shock Absorber is a bolt-on upgrade designed to enhance both on and off-road performance. It features position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons. The shock's type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and resists corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body includes an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates the shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen for optimized damping.

Equipped with Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology, this shock provides precise rebound damping control on and off the road. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow the shock shaft speed. This technology is especially beneficial for vehicles with heavier, more aggressive tires and those lifted beyond OEM specifications.
