Scotch and Abram's Assam is a single origin loose leaf tea sourced from the renowned estates of the Assam Valley in northeast India - the region responsible for the deep, malty character that defines most British and Irish breakfast blends. This is that character on its own, undiluted. The leaves are graded TGFOP - Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe - one of the highest grades in Assam, indicating whole leaves with golden tips that produce a naturally sweet, refined cup.

Full-bodied, malty, and smooth with a naturally sweet finish that you don't get from a lower grade Assam. Deep amber in the cup, bold enough to cut through milk without losing character, refined enough to drink black. The kind of Assam that rewards attention.

How to brew the perfect cup
  1. Use freshly boiled water, not left to cool.
  2. Use one heaped teaspoon per cup.
  3. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes depending on preferred strength.
  4. Add milk. Assam is built for it - though the TGFOP grade is worth trying black first.
How does it compare?

Taylors, Darvilles, and Brodies all carry single origin Assam teas worth comparing - each blender handles the same origin differently, and the TGFOP grade in ours brings a natural sweetness that separates it from standard Assam blends.

Good for a while
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
My GSD puppy, at 6 months made shredded leather out of this in a matter of weeks. Initially it was fine but if you spend more than an hour or two playing with your dog, chances are this toy will begin to tear.

Crazy how much our dog loved this
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
It is crazy how much our baby loved this thing. Has held up decently except she chewed off the handle like a goober. Fun to play tug of war with. Soft and safe for teeth. She loves carrying it from room to room, nice and light.

Pattern Name: Tug Rag
This is the best toy for puppy teeth. If you want to play with your pup you can hold with your hands & it protects your fingers. Our pup does prefer this toy to others & I think it is because the leather is thick.
