Staying on the highway still means you deserve some comfort. The Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality on a budget. Utilizing front and rear 2.0" internal reservoir shocks, Carli Signature shocks have a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in-town, highway, and towing/hauling.

Let's admit it, the majority of us don't take our trucks off-road, and in the rare occurrences we do, we are usually going pretty slow. If you've come to that reality, why would you want to install a performance suspension system? Well, that answer is quite simple....the ride. Heavy-duty trucks ride rough, doesn't matter what anyone says. Sure, they've gotten better over the years, but they're still neck-jarring when you slam into deep potholes, especially when the truck is unloaded. Carli Suspension has engineered a suspension system for daily drivers, introducing the COMMUTER 2.0.

COMMUTER 2.0 BASE KIT

For a truck that needs a smooth ride and enhanced handling on a variety of road conditions, Carli Suspension has covered all the bases. The Base Kit starts with multi-rate coils that give you a smoother ride and better stability when you need them most. A multi-rate coil also reduces stress on components like your shocks and bushings. The Carli SPEC 2.0" Internal Floating Piston (IFP) Shocks that come with the COMMUTER 2.0 system are tuned to deliver comfort wherever the road takes you or what you decide to take behind your rig. The mono-tube, Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts 6063 Aluminum construction, anodized body for corrosion resistance, 5/8″ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability, and rebuildability and are built with 1-piece bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are spec’d with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping and the widest available range in temperature variation. And by improving on ride quality, you also improve the safety of your truck as well with it's predictable behaviour, better traction, and control.

REAR LEAF SPRING OPTIONS

Your truck will sit 2.5"-3" higher in the front (year/cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The rear is lifted via your choice of Carli's progressive add-a-pack or full replacement progressive leaf spring. The Progressive Add-A-Pack replaces the factory lower overload with a 5-Leaf, progressive pack that changes the final rate of the spring pack keeping the rear planted while increasing traction and predictability. The full replacement springs are intended for those who want to maximize wheel travel (capable of up to 15") and minimize axle wrap due to their block-eliminating design. The Commuter 2.0 System has been developed with the Full Progressive option. While the Add-a-Packs will function there will also be a noticeable difference in ride-quality. Additionally, if you select "No" Leaf Spring option it will result in an unknown ride quality and height.

LEAF SPRING SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Add-A-Pack: Replaces rear, lower overload spring for increased ride quality. Includes U-Bolts and Center Pins.
  • Standard Full Spring Pack: Capable of 15" of wheel travel. Will reduce payload capacity by 15%. REQUIRES BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE - 5" Bump Stop Drop Bracket such as Timbren TB-DR1525H

SWAY BAR END LINKS

When pairing added down-travel with the taller ride height, the position of the factory, and front sway bar will need to be altered as well. For this, you will also receive extended, Sway Bar End Links. The End links are equipped with 1/2" FK Rod-Ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies that are extended over stock to reset the sway bar engagement points. Factory pillow bushings are re-used to assemble the sway bar to the lengthened link. Already have End Links from a previous installation? You have the option of declining them if you so choose but remember they are required for proper sway bar position.

SWAY BAR END LINKS SPECIFICATIONS:

  • In-house machined out of 17-4 stainless steel
  • 1/2" FK Bearing, Chromoly Rod-End
  • Used on 0-3" lift

OPTIONAL UPGRADES

  • Control Arms: re-centers the front axle after lift, improves clearance and suspension control

WHEEL AND TIRE FITMENT

This system will fit up to a 35" tire with stock control arms (we recommend purchasing a set of extended, Mild Steel Control Arms) on wheels with 5.75-6" of backspacing. If running factory wheels, we recommend an All Terrain 35" tire to avoid rubbing. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5.75" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
  • TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R.
  • RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride.

Smooth as a Kazakh Goat's Milk! Very Nice!
Style: Sport
Wa wa wee wa! I recently use the Cleanlogic Soap Saver Exfoliator, and let me tell you, it is very nice! My wife, she say my skin now feel like a silky milk of a Kazakhstani goat, yes? The exfoliator, it rubs away the dirt like it owes money to my brother Bilo! The soap saver is genius—no more dropping soap like slippery American politician drop the truth! You put the soap in, scrub-a-dub, and poof! Clean like a baby after his first bath in the glorious Aral Sea (before it disappear, very sad). Also, it make shower time much longer—good for avoiding wife! High five! Perfect for the hardworking man who want to feel smooth like a freshly peeled potato. I give this five thumbs up! Jagshemash!

Very nice
Style: Sport
My husband and I both enjoy these soap savers. We don't find them to be too abrasive and I have sensitive skin. It dries between uses and works as expected. Unfortunately, we met a quality issue when the thinner side of his soap bag ripped within a month. Disappointing. I've deducted 2 stars for this reason.

Looked for this for quite a while
Style: Bath And Body, Size: 3 Count (Pack of 1)
There are a lot of "Japanese style" exfoliating scrubber "cloth" kind of products around Amazon, and at local grocery and drug stores. Most of them are pretty cheap in construction. One layer, thin, and before long they tend to start coming apart at the edges, leaving long plastic threads everywhere. Strangely, even though they are very thin once you unfold them, they have the ability to retain water droplets in the gaps in the material and stay kind of damp for longer than you might expect. Part of the problem, I think, is that the material is so light that it's difficult to "snap" it well enough to shake the water droplets out of the material. Surface tension holds the tiny droplets between the threads. Anyway, one day I found an exfoliating cloth at the local grocery store, and it was unusually thick and luxurious, and double layered, and nicely sewn at the edges/ends. Although I did not realize at the time that its construction was so unusual. It creates a very thick scrubber full of lather when you scrunch it up, but you can also unfold it and stretch it into a back scrubber. Just like the cheaper versions you can find everywhere, but with a better ability to hold onto lathered soap or body wash, even when it's unfolded. I kept looking for something similar to take with me on trips, because I really liked using it at home. But the cheapo exfoliating cloths I found were all pretty thin and flimsy by comparison. I found a set of cloths that looked kind of similar, but they were very small, and still pretty thin. I looked at the cloth and it had a Cleanlogic tag on it, so I looked for something similar. At the store they had an even bigger/thicker version of Cleanlogic product, with a loop of rope on either end. It's nice for home use, and even easier to use as a huge back scrubber. But I wanted something similar to this moderately thick, stretchy exfoliating cloth that I had found at the store much earlier. Thicker than most of the exfoliating cloths on the market, but still compact enough to pack up in a toiletry kit without taking up too much room. Turns out, it was this. Except it wasn't a three-pack. Haven't found a single-pack. So this may seem a bit steeply priced compared to competing products, but you do get three very substantial cloths that should last a long time. The thing about this exact product is that its thickness and weight allows it to be swung around when it's wet (fold it in half lengthwise first) and you can get most of the moisture out. First, hold it by the ends folded in half, then hold it by the middle and swing it around again for a few seconds, as fast as you can. You'll find it quickly gets much lighter, as the water gets pulled out by centrifugal force. Do a few snaps while holding the middle, and a few snaps while holding the ends together. It will be mostly dry already, and will end up drying just about as quickly as the cheapo plastic cloths do. You may think with the extra thickness that it might be difficult to rinse the soap out when you're done with it. But I haven't found that to be the case. It's about as easy to rinse out as the cheapo variety of exfoliating cloths. Hold it up in front of the shower head, let the water push out the soap and gunk, pull it through your mostly closed hand to wring out the water, and repeat a couple of times. It will be perfectly clean, ready for swinging and snapping the remaining water out. Because of the sewn edges, this won't easily come unraveled or shed, and it's frankly more exfoliating and effective at cleaning anything and everything than the cheapo packs of exfoliating cloths you'll find everywhere. Really glad it had a tag on it with the brand so I could find a new one to travel with. I haven't seen any other brand make them quite this way, after scouring every similar product on Amazon. And yes, the tag is still there even after the cloth has been used extensively. They seem to be pretty durable. The "cloth" form factor is nice because it can scrunch up and be like a sponge, like those poofy body scrubber balls you see everywhere, or fold up or wrap around a hand like an exfoliating glove, or stretch into a back scrubber. But also because unlike thick exfoliating "sponge" form factors that can't change, the cloths have a much better ability to dry out quickly and avoid promoting the growth of bacteria. Very important for something you may need to pack away in luggage for an extended period, shortly after showering.
