Fitting and handling
Allow the mouldings to acclimatise indoors for 24 to 48 hours before fitting, particularly in rooms with underfloor heating or variable humidity. Fix to the wall using a suitable grab adhesive, panel pins, or a combination of both for a secure finish. Once fitted, apply one or two top coats of your chosen paint over the existing primer for a clean, durable result.

Can I combine multiple kits to cover a larger wall?
Yes. Each kit is designed to work alongside others in the range. You can arrange kits side by side along a wall, adjusting spacing to suit your layout. The 1800mm dado rail supplied with each kit can also be cut to length or butted against adjoining rails.
Do the mouldings need painting before fitting?
The mouldings arrive primed and ready for your top coat. You can paint them before or after fitting. Many fitters prefer to apply an initial top coat before fixing, then touch in the mitres and fixings once the panels are on the wall.
What adhesive should I use to fix wall panelling mouldings?
A grab adhesive suitable for wood and plaster, such as No More Nails or a solvent-free equivalent, works well. Apply to the back of the moulding in short beads, press firmly into position, and support with masking tape while the adhesive cures if needed. Panel pins add extra security on lath-and-plaster or uneven walls.
