The same improvements from the V3 are included in the ICE version but a switch to a cold operating technology was added lowering the working temperature dramatically.
Like the V3, the ICE has a replaceable screw-type case for when you want to have the case replaced. New firmware increases protection of the glow plugs. Colder operation due to the ICE tecnology, reverse polarity protection, louder buzzer with new technology. The XGlow Pro ICE is the most advanced glow igniter to date. It includes the standard glow igniter function but it adds additional functions like anti-chicken-dance, anti-hot-starts, good-bad glow plug sensor, wide voltage range of 6V-12V providing constant glow-plug glowing at any voltage level, craft Locator Buzzing Horn controlled by a radio switch. Voltage monitor with LED lights and emergency Buzzing Horn when critical low and when Anti-Hot-Starts feature is activated.
***Note***: To activate the Switch from the radio function, press and hold the red button while powering up. When active, the unit will flash all lights three times when powered up. When not active they will flash only once.
