The E1 turntable from Pro-Ject offers the perfect introduction to the world of vinyl records, whether you’re starting from scratch or dusting down your old LP collection, the Pro-Ject E1 offers the perfect blend of sound quality and practical features. Built to Pro-Ject’s usual high standards, the E1 is solidly made, with a CNC-machined composite fibre plinth, aluminium tonearm and Ortofon OM5e cartridge. Unlike other budget record players that offer a fixed speed or require a fiddly belt change, the E1 has an electronic speed control, making it easy to switch between 33rpm albums and 45rpm singles.
Built-in Phono Pre-Amp
The Pro-Ject E1 Phono version adds a built-in MM Phono Stage to the regular E1 making it the ideal choice if your amplifier or system doesn’t have a dedicated phono input.

Boasting premium materials, stylish aesthetics and a rich, lively sound, Pro-Ject’s extensive development process has ensured that the E1 offers unbeatable performance for a turntable in this price range. The stylish CNC-machined composite fibre plinth has been carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, this combined with the isolation feet and anti-resonance platter helps increase resistance to unwanted vibrations thereby lowering distortion and improving sound quality. The high quality, isolated DC motor gives smooth and stable pitch for lifelike sound.
Lightweight aluminium tonearm
The lightweight and low friction 8.6“ aluminium tonearm is optimised for the high quality Audio Technica AT 3600L cartridge. The new ABS Polymer main platter is strengthened with purpose-designed ridges in order to create the ideal, anti-resonant platform for your vinyl. Pro-Ject’s Plug & Play design with pre-adjusted tracking force and anti skating by their experienced technicians in the factory provides you with the best settings for your turntable, just plug it in and start enjoying your music.
Elegant design and choice of finish
The clean, elegant design gives the Pro-Ject E1 a timeless appeal and with a choice of black, white or walnut finishes, there’s a colour to suit every style. To protect your E1 from dust, you will also find an elegant acrylic dustcover with adjustable hinges in the box.
