Colore rosso rubino acceso e brillante, al naso mostra subito una certa esuberanza mettendo in luce un frutto fragrante e ricordi lievemente floreali e piccanti. L'assaggio è dotato di grande corpo e struttura, con una trama tannica fitta e avvolgente e una freschezza che favorisce la bevibilità.

In questa bottiglia troviamo la classicità del primitivo: frutto di alberelli con un'età media di 60 anni, viene vinificato in maniera tradizionale e con l'uso di lieviti indigeni che esaltano maggiormente le peculiarità del vitigno.
