An amazing and substantial antique ring, remarkable for both its scale and presence on the hand.

The top of the ring is set with a large yellow citrine intaglio of exceptional richness and clarity. At its centre is a finely hand engraved boar. A powerful and traditional motif symbolising courage, strength, and fierce protection. The carving is wonderfully executed, with confident lines that bring the animal vividly to life when the light catches the stone’s glowing depths. The citrine itself dates to the mid Victorian era, making it a beautiful survivor of 19th century craftsmanship.

The ring is created from 9 carat gold, whose warm tone perfectly complements the golden hues of the citrine, enhancing its sunlit brilliance. At some point in its long history the piece appears to have been reshanked with a new band, ensuring strength and longevity for continued wear. The vintage mount is notably heavy and thick, giving the ring a deeply satisfying weight and a reassuring, luxurious feel on the hand.

INTAGLIO: 15 x 12mm approximately 

HALLMARKS:  fully hallmarked 9 carat gold 1968

WEIGHT: 9.8 grams approx.

CONDITION: Overall in good condition commensurate with the age of the piece with just a few fine nibbles to the surface of the citrine. As can be seen there is a small section of gold rope work missing for the edge of the ring.

I don't know why someone would buy this expecting it to taste like real bananas like come on ppl lol. The only way to attain a syrup that tastes like real banana bread is to make it at home. This is an artificially flavored syrup so obviously it tastes that way! I have made banana bread syrup (more like a sauce) at home and it is delicious, highly recommend!! But this is way more shelf stable and tastes amazing in an iced latte as well! Different than home made but still good. To me this tastes like banana pudding mix which also has a fake banana taste. It also tastes EXACTLY like the new Dunkin banana flavored syrup which is what I was looking for! I use 1.5 tbsp syrup, a little vanilla paste, 2 espresso shots and 2 percent milk with plenty of ice. I like keeping my latte calories below 200 and not super sweet tho so you can up it to 2 tbsp. The cals in this are not terrible, 70 cals for 2 tablespoons. Usually my syrups have 50-60 cals for only 1 tbsp so I'm pleasantly surprised this is a little lower. I bought a second bottle because I'm afraid this is a limited release lol.
