Feeding Instructions
Certain conditions may elevate your horse’s need for salt: warm temperatures, during travel, engaging in fast or extended work, when unable to access a salt lick fully, and when sweating due to work or stress.
Instructions for use in water:
Add at a rate of 15g (½ enclosed measure) per 1 gallon/4.5 litres. A typical stable bucket holds 3 gallons and would need 1½ measures (45g).
Must be provided alongside plain water, allowing your horse to select which water to drink.
Instructions for use in feed
Add to feed at a rate of 15g for ponies (½ measure), 30g for horses (1 measure) or adjust as needed.
