This prevents minor shifts without affecting the magnet hoop’s clamping efficiency or embroidery quality.
Are there any pro-tips for using this magnetic frame with very thin or stretchy fabrics like silk or Spandex?
Yes. When using MaggieFrame magnetic hoops on thin or stretch fabrics, avoid pulling the material too tight. Instead, place the fabric and stabilizer flat and smooth on the bottom hoop, then let the top frame’s magnetic force lock them evenly. This prevents puckering and keeps stitch quality consistent on ISTITCH machines while preserving fabric elasticity and shape.
I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size should I choose?
For left-chest or small logo embroidery on t-shirts, MaggieFrame magnetic hoops in 4″ × 4″ (100 × 100 mm) or 5″ × 5″ (125 × 125 mm) are ideal. If you often stitch larger front designs or back prints, consider sizes from 10″ × 10″ (255 × 255 mm) upward. The 12.4″ × 15.6″ (315 × 395 mm) model is excellent for full-front graphics on ISTITCH 1501C or 1503 machines.
