The Crux: Lenten Journey of Surrender Journal allows you to build habits of surrender that will last beyond the Lenten season. Each day of Lent, you will be guided through a journey of growing in discipline, surrender, and spiritual reflection. 

This daily journal helps you stay focused on your relationship with God in ways that are customizable for your unique state in life. That means finding small sacrifices that are doable for you. No unrealistic exercises, no extreme fasts, but a Lenten experience that is tailored to who you are and what you need.

Every day you will follow four practices:

• Spiritual reading from the Gospel of Mark, or the Sunday Mass readings
• A dietary fast of your choosing 
• A daily workout of your choosing
• A Nightly Examen with journal space to help you reflect on your day, and how you desire to improve the next day

The four daily practices are designed to help you spend time with God, create opportunities to sacrifice for him, and build the habit of surrendering both successes and failures to the foot of the Cross. 

By keeping track of these four things and writing them down every day, it will deepen your habits of inviting God into your life and help you continue these practices even after Lent is over.

This Lenten experience is as hard as you need it to be. Working out can be as simple as walking down the block or playing with your kids, or as difficult as going to the gym every day. Is fasting intimidating? Start with having no creamer in your coffee, or only having water to drink that day. 

This customizable Lenten journey with the accountability of a physical Lenten journal means that it is doable, and built to meet you where you are at.
