Lakshmi Ganesha – The Hindi word ‘Chaturbhuj’ means the one who has four hands. In this brass sculpture Lord Ganesha is depicted with his four hands. The upper left hand has a ‘Pharsa’ or an axe symbolizing cutting attachment bonds. The lower right hand is raised with palm facing outwards away from the body with fingers flexed. This hand gesture is called ‘Abhayamudra’ that offers protection for all from all evils. The upper right hand is shown holding a conch, ‘Shankha’ in Hindi. The sound of the conch is considered pious in Hinduism and represents the call to come and pray. The lower left hand holds a special sweet called ‘Modak or Laddoo’. It is believed that it is the favorite sweet of Lord Ganesha, also it represents the sweet result of prayers one offers and the sweetest things of all - The liberation or ‘Moksha’. Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth/money, prosperity, and fortune. Also she is the spouse of Lord Vishnu, who is believed to be the supreme savior of this universe. It is believed that worshipping goddess Lakshami brings good luck, removes misery and poverty. Lakshmi is worshipped in Hinduism in homes and also at commercial establishments as the goddess of wealth for their success. The festival of Diwali in India sees special prayers in homes, commercial places and temples of goddess Lakshmi with Lord Ganesha. She also enjoys worship as the consort of Vishnu in many temples.

Great Quality for the Price

Love these paper plates. They’re sturdy, microwave-safe, and hold up well without getting soggy or folding easily. Great for everyday use and cleanup is super convenient. Good value for the price and reliable for meals and snacks.

Nice and sturdy!
Size: 300 Count
This was our first time to try the Amazon Basics Everyday Plates. I typically purchase paper plates in bulk from a big box club store. These are just as good, if not better! They are thick and sturdy, and hold up well. The price point it also better!
My only negative is the design on the plate isn’t the most appealing. I think it’d be better if the design was limited to just being on the edge, and not across the entire plate.

Great Size, Strong Enough for Everyday Use, and Worth Reordering
Size: 300 Count
I reorder these regularly, and that really says the most. They’ve been consistent, practical, and a good value for what you get.
They’re strong enough to handle normal meals without feeling like they’re going to give way. I’ve had no issues using them for everyday food, and they hold up well as long as you’re using them as intended.
I also like the size. They’re a little over 8½ inches, which works well for most meals. If I have something heavier, I can put a plate holder underneath, and these still fit just fine.
The print/design is simple, which I don’t mind at all. I’m more concerned with how they perform, and these do what I need them to do.
I’ve used name-brand paper plates before, and for my everyday use, I feel like these compare very well, especially considering the price.
I’ll also be honest—paper plates just make sense for me. I tend to drop things because of how my hands work, so
this helps prevent broken dishes and the cleanup that comes with that. Plus, it definitely cuts down on doing dishes.
Overall, these are reliable, affordable, and something I’ll continue to reorder.
