Enter Networker, the new album by Omni and first with indie giant Sub Pop Records. Their sound is still defined by sparse drums, locked-in bass, blistering guitar, and nonchalant, yet assured vocals, but from the first notes of "Sincerely Yours" you'll immediately notice that Networker sounds much cleaner and more "HI-FI" than their prior two albums, Deluxe (2016) and Multi-task (2017). The departure in fidelity suits the new record and allows the listener to enjoy the nuances of their meticulous arrangements. Don't worry, the riffs of Gang of Four and Wire are still present, but the production is more lush and the harmony is even more expansive. Despite nods to the sounds of the '70s and '80s what comes through is a record fully rooted in the here and now. Thematically, this is apparent on the title track "Networker" taking a candid snapshot of the "digital you" aspect of life in the age of the internet. The otherwise fun romp "Skeleton Key" also acknowledges the "direct message and obsessive" side of social media with lines like "if you don't like what you see, the pretty face on the screen, scroll on by..." Networker was written half between tours and half during recording sessions.

Happy with them
I'm putting up shelves around my bed for my books, and so far, the first shelf is holding nicely with these brackets. They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves

Fantastic Product
I bought these hangers to mount my speakers. They are heavy duty, has a curl at the end to keep the speakers from falling off, and I was able to mount them and have clearance underneath. Awesome!!

Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!
