Billy Garner's 'I Got Some' on the beautiful looking New Day label has been sought by DJs and producers since it was first used brilliantly by DJ Premier to create the beat for 'B.Y.S' in 1992. Garner's 'Brand New Girl' was found in the vaults of New Day owner Dave Hamilton and became an instant deep funk classic on it's limited release on a BGP 45 ten years ago. Copies of that are now fetching good money so we felt it was time to give it a new lease of 7inch life.

This is very pretty and matched my gold fixtures well. It is a heavy piece. I was a little surprised because I anticipated it being smaller, however it’s rather substantial.
