The stories were written by journalist Samo Marec, whose father was a keeper at three of the huts himself. For each of the 13 Slovak huts we captured atmosphere, facts and timeless tips — and we added four new chapters on the Polish side of the range. Photography by Jakub Čaprnka, drawings by Ivana Čobejová, and one original illustration per hut by Adrián Macho.
