Features Of Your New Texas Speed Camshaft
The Texas Speed 228/232 is one of the most popular grinds from Texas Speed & is perfect for those wanting a retain some street manners.
The 228/232 will gain approx 5 - 7 more horsepower than the Texas Speed 228R camshaft.
The team at Texas Speed & Performance have proven this camshaft to be a the perfect choice for either automatic OR manual transmissions - With automatic cars needing a minimum of 2,800 stall converter.
Dyno testing has resulted in the Texas Speed & Performance camshaft making a solid 50 - 55 rear wheel horsepower gains with supporting bolt-on modifications in place.
This 228/232 camshaft is available in your choice of 112 LSA OR 114 LSA.
The 112LSA helps to bring the camshafts powerband lower in the rpm band. The lower LSA also creates a slightly rougher idle.
The 114LSA is designed for boosted builds to utilise the wider lobe separation.

not tight enough
It did slip on my BMW M5 F90 oil filter — it wasn’t tight enough. I had to use a microfiber cloth to fill the gap and make it tighter in order to loosen the oil filter.
