For almost four days, the peanut butter is churned and whipped by virgins and on the fifth day, Lucifer joins the chocolate-making process. The divine tears of virgin girls are mixed together with the flames of inferno and from this act of deflowering the peanut butter chocolate bar is born. So damn good..." - Domantas Uzpalis, chocolatier.

About Naive's Equator collection

The concept of the Equator collection is to use ingredients that come from a single ecosystem. Because an ecosystem's minerals, water, and soil give life to its plants, the living things that thrive together inherently taste good together. Every chocolate bar from this collection is solely composed of ingredients grown in the area of the region of the earth surrounding the equator with bright and intense flavors symbiotically blended into the house-made tropical chocolate.

Facts

It starts with selecting the freshest peanuts. They are toasted to achieve a specific flavor profile. Next, they stone-grinded together with specialty cacao and other ingredients. After the lengthy, yet gentle, grinding process, the peanut butter chocolate is finally ready to  be crystallized and molded into bars.

The chocolate is made in-house with organic specialty cacao, which is mixed in certain proportions to form a clean, rich and flavorful base. The blend formulation is classified, but we can assure you it is top quality and fits perfectly with Chocolate Naive standards and values.

Flavor notes

A very pronounced nutty flavor with a light touch of cream and cacao. Rich and unctious aftertaste. A little bit of tingling saltness round things out.

Pairing suggestions

One way to enjoy this choc is by grating it into hot toast. Or try adding a bit of homemade fruit jam on top. Timeless classic! You can also pair this chocolate with a stout or a porter-style beer. Another option is to try something like Flemish red or brown ale, which balances the sweetness of the chocolate with a sour, dark-cherry bite.

Nice glass canister
Holds coffee airtight, keeping it fresher longer. It's see-through, so even guests know where to get the coffee. Good quality.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.

I needed a secure container for my flour and this works perfect
I have a unique problem I have dart frogs and because I have dart frogs I have to raise flies unfortunately, the fruit flies really love flower, and I’m having a hard time getting a container that seals and keeps everything out because normally a bay leaf is good enough to keep whatever out of your flower but not not this so I got this container and it’s amazing it seals so nice and tight. You can literally pressurize it to keep your flower completely safe from silly things like fruit flies I know this is unusual, but if you’re looking for a container that really seals this one’s fantastic. I love that it’s glass. I love that you can actually pump the top to pressurize it and then you hit the other button to release the pressure. I will say it is kind of hard to pull the lid off so definitely go slow.

It is heavy
Size: 58.3mm, Color: Black
Item was as described and shipped promptly. It is heavy and works well with my portafilter. I haven't had it long enough to really evaluate how helpful it is.
