Domaine de Targuerie Côtes de Gascogne Organic Tannat Merlot 2024 is a modern, fruit-driven blend that combines the structure of Tannat with the softness and roundness of Merlot. Grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve bright fruit expression. Gentle extraction ensures supple tannins and a smooth texture, while a short resting period allows the wine to integrate and develop harmony.
The 2024 vintage shows vibrant fruit and approachable structure. Aromas of blackberry, plum, and red cherry are complemented by subtle hints of spice, violet, and fresh herbs. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and juicy, with ripe dark fruit flavours, soft tannins, and refreshing acidity. The finish is clean, smooth, and lightly savoury.
