Patek Philippe Ellipse 18K Blue Dial Diamond Set – Ref. 3849

A Rare Factory-Diamond Masterpiece With Heavy Integrated Bracelet

The Patek Philippe Ellipse Ref. 3849 is one of the most elegant and elusive expressions of the Ellipse line, distinguished by its factory diamond-set configuration, blue Sigma dial, and luxurious heavy 18K yellow gold bracelet. Produced in extremely small quantities, the reference was created exclusively for diamond-set examples, making it one of the most collectible and distinctive variations of the Ellipse family.

A Factory Diamond-Set Ellipse – Blue Dial, Sapphire Crown, and Exceptional Finishing

This example features the iconic blue Sigma dial adorned with four factory-set diamonds placed at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock—an elegant layout that maintains the clean geometry of the Ellipse while adding a refined sparkle.

Surrounding the dial is a factory diamond-set bezel comprising 60 natural diamonds, each stone precisely placed to represent a minute on the minute track—a subtle yet extraordinary detail reserved for Patek Philippe’s most artistic jewellery-watch creations.

A blue sapphire Patek Philippe crown further enhances the sophistication of the piece, harmonizing perfectly with the deep blue dial.

Golden hands complete the composition, offering a warm contrast against the dial’s rich hue.

Heavy 18K Yellow Gold Integrated Bracelet – Exceptional Craftsmanship

One of the standout features of this Ref. 3849 is its stunning and substantial Patek Philippe bracelet in solid 18K yellow gold, fully integrated into the case. The bracelet adds both visual presence and tactile luxury, with a length of approximately 17.5 cm, making it ideal for most wrists.

The bracelet ends in a Patek Philippe–signed buckle with a micro-adjust system, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit—an uncommon and highly desirable detail for vintage Patek integrated bracelets.

Both case and bracelet appear unpolished, retaining original edges, geometry, and surface character—an important attribute for collectors who appreciate untouched condition.

Calibre 215 – Manual-Wound Patek Philippe Purity

Inside the reference beats the Patek Philippe Calibre 215, a beautifully finished manual-wound movement celebrated for its reliability, thin profile, and precise timekeeping. This example is reported to keep time very well, a testament to both the movement’s robustness and the careful stewardship of the watch since its original purchase.

The sapphire crystal remains perfect and spotless, allowing unobstructed appreciation of the dial and diamonds.

Originality and Provenance

Offered straight from the first owners, this watch presents an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a high-jewellery Ellipse in outstanding, preserved condition.

The reference 3849 is effectively the diamond-set counterpart to the more commonly seen Ref. 3848—but unlike the 3848, the 3849 was exclusively produced in factory diamond-set configurations, making surviving examples exceedingly scarce.

Given its untouched condition, factory diamond setting, and heavy gold integrated bracelet, this piece represents one of the most refined Ellipse executions ever produced.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.
