Will the gold wear off? No — Keum-Boo permanently fuses 24ct gold to silver through heat and pressure, without adhesive or plating. It will not peel or wear away with normal use.

Style & Inspiration
The Wrapped collection began with a walk around my garden in Mt Eden. I live on a volcano, and the basalt rock that surfaces through the soil became the first texture — hammering fine silver directly into the stone, letting it leave its mark on the metal. That stone is gone now, but the impulse remains: to wrap the surface of the metal in something that carries meaning.
The texture on these earrings comes from a rolling mill — a different tool, the same logic. Each material I’ve worked with leaves its own mark. That evolution is part of the work.
The Wrapped collection is built around a simple idea: that we clothe ourselves to signal who we are — the tribe we belong to, the identity we carry into the world. These earrings carry that logic into metal. Lightweight, detailed, and quietly bold — for day-to-night wear.
