Gaps on the base of each panel allow seed to exit onto the platform for birds to enjoy, and this area also provides plenty of resting spots for the birds. A hipped, copper roof covers this reservoir, the symmetrical sides mimicking that of the body, and its verdigris finish contrasts the white tone of the PVC frame. A cast iron finial adds height and drama to the feeder, and the roof may be removed for refilling and cleaning the item.
