The HP LaserJet P3005X is a black and white printer suitable for small to mid-sized office use. Ease of use defines this HP laser printer, and with a dimension of 16.7 x 16.1 x 12.2-inches, it can fit seamlessly into any office space. The large front-loading paper tray holds up to 1,000 sheets of paper and adjusts to accommodate paper of up to legal-length sizes. A second tray with a capacity of 100 sheets sits above the primary paper cassette, allowing users to switch between two paper types without having to change paper in the larger tray. The outlet tray, located on top of the HP LaserJet P3005X, includes an extension drawer for large paper. In addition, a simple control panel allows users to order print jobs quickly. The control panel also lets users to print off instructions for dealing with common HP laser printer problems, such as paper jams and ink cartridge replacement. The workgroup printer offers rapid printing with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and a first page out time of 9.5 seconds. Moreover, with a media capacity of 600 sheets, this printer can be used on more than 10 media types including prepunched paper and transparencies. Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connectivity enables the HP LaserJet P3005X to connect seamlessly to local networks. Compatible with Microsoft Windows editions from Windows 98 to XP professional, this workgroup printer also works with Apple MacOS X.
