'What was she? Not a child, for she was seventeen, and taller than Kitty: not a girl, for she floated like a feather, and flew into trees like a bird; not a spirit - she was human to touch. But to-night she was all made of mischief and magic, remote form him, and yet calling him to here . . .'

At thirty-two, her mother dead, Agatha Bodenham finds herself quite alone. She summons back to life the only friend she ever knew, Clarissa, the dream companion of her childhood. At first Clarissa comes by night, and then by day, gathering substance in the warmth of Agatha's obsessive love until it seems that others too can see her. See, but not touch, for Agatha has made her love child for herself alone. No man may approach her elfin creation of perfect beauty. If he does, the love which summoned her can spirit her away . . .

The Love Child (1927) was Edith Olivier's first novel, acknowledged as a minor masterpiece: a perfectly imagined fable and a moving and perceptive portrayal of unfulfilled maternal love.

Great complete start to finish steps setting up a website online for programmers
Format: Paperback
It was nice to have a collection of topics covered over the whole development and deployment process. As a newly retired CSC professor who has not done any work in the Web area it was nice to have so much basic useful material in one place. The source code examples all being online to download is very nice to help overcome the requirement for the book to limit full examples of complete code. I offered to put up a small website for and small non-profit and this text gave me information on every step from finding a host to front-end and backend development at little or no cost. Saved me a lot of online research as it gave a complete picture of what will be needed from start to end. It is a Dummies book so if you want to become expert it only gets you started but far enough into each topic to allow you to grow on your own after that.

Awesome Book!!
Format: Kindle
I was a little skeptical about reading this book due to previous encounters with the Holy Spirit concerning Tim Ross. However, I believe GOD has given me clearance to read this book, and because of this book or shall I say the GOD given words in this book, Welcome to the Basement has been a comprised or a condensed yet straight to the point version of another book I was in the process of reading. It took the leg work out and made it into a simple and clear insight on how to practice the way of Jesus based on the life of Jesus and how to invite others to the table to eat with Jesus. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait to slowly start back getting down into the basement. Thank You GOD and thank you, Tim Ross, for this book. It was a goldmine!! Peace, love, blessings, Erika.

You go up by going down…Welcome To The Basement!
Format: Hardcover
Tim Ross has taken the concept of The Basement and splashed them in black and white on the pages of this book! WTTB is a not only a guide but quite literally a masterclass on how to love the way Jesus loves. As a follower of Jesus for some time, I am impressed by Tim’s fresh perspectives, vivid writing style and conversational approach to this work. Welcome To The Basement simply feels like Tim on an extended episode of The Basement podcast. This page-turner of a book is a must read for all people who want to experience a radical approach to doing ministry in a postmodern world among people who question the validity of scripture and the relevance of Jesus and His Church. Become a “Basement dweller”!

Press B!
Format: Hardcover
"Welcome to the Basement" by Tim Ross is an incredible guide to achieving true greatness through humility and service. Having known Ross as a great mentor to a dear friend, I was eager to dive into this book. The principles he share are both radical and deeply needed in our world today. This fully revised edition of his previous work, "Upset the World," is timely and relevant, addressing today's unique challenges. Ross's personal insights and practical guidance make this book a must-read for anyone looking to have a deeper connection to God. The audiobook, read by Ross himself, adds an extra layer of connection and authenticity.
