Far From Stock — Hub & Wheel-Centric Billet Adapter (8×170 → 8×170, 14×2.0 Studs, 125 mm Bore)
Must order two for a pair. Pricing is for one wheel adapter only.
Hub- and wheel-centric billet adapter for early Ford Super Duty SRW platforms using the 8×170 mm bolt pattern, M14×2.0 studs, and a 125 mm center bore. Same-pattern design (8×170 → 8×170) maintains OEM geometry while adding clearance or stance. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet.
Vehicle Fitment (YMM)
| Make | Model | Years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ford | F-250 Super Duty (SRW) | 1999–2002 | 8×170, M14×2.0 studs, 125 mm hub/wheel bore. SRW only. |
| Ford | F-350 Super Duty (SRW) | 1999–2002 | 8×170, M14×2.0 studs, 125 mm hub/wheel bore. Not for dually (DRW). |
| Ford | Excursion (SRW) | 2000–2002 | 8×170, M14×2.0 studs, ~125 mm hub/wheel bore. Verify thread pitch before ordering. |
Tech notes: Early Super Duty (’99–’02) commonly uses M14×2.0 studs; later (≈’03+) changed to M14×1.5. SRW hub bore is typically ~124.9–125 mm. Always verify your truck’s stud pitch and hub bore.
Key Details

- Center Bore: 125 mm hub- & wheel-centric
- Application: Ford Super Duty SRW — not for DRW (8×200)
- Type: Same-pattern billet adapter (not a conversion)
- Material: Precision CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum billet
Why these outperform generic spacers
Stronger than Cast — Machined from 6061-T6 Billet
- 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum: Excellent toughness and fatigue resistance for working trucks.
- Hub- & wheel-centric load path: Pilots at the hub and wheel face to reduce vibration and spread load evenly.
- Precision machining: Tight runout and concentricity support high-speed stability.
- High-strength hardware: Studs and nuts spec’d to meet or exceed OEM grade requirements.
- OEM geometry preserved: Same-pattern 8×170 → 8×170 improves stance without altering mating angles.
Install Notes
- Verify fitment: Confirm Super Duty SRW with 8×170 pattern and M14×2.0 studs (’99–’02 typical).
- Prep hub: Lift/secure vehicle; remove wheel. Clean hub face and center bore of rust/paint/debris.
- Test-fit adapter: Slide adapter onto hub; ensure full, even seating (no gaps).
- Secure adapter: Install nuts on factory studs; tighten in a star pattern to the manufacturer’s torque spec.
- Mount wheel: Place wheel on adapter studs; install lug nuts and tighten in a star pattern to spec.
- Spin/clearance check: Rotate by hand to verify no contact with calipers, tie-rod ends, or fenders.
- Re-torque: After 50–100 miles, re-torque adapter and wheel nuts to spec; check periodically.
Use fasteners that match your wheel seat style (cone/flat) and follow torque specs in your owner’s manual/wheel manufacturer documentation.
