Overview

AW PVCBV65 threaded PVC ball valve features a BSP 65mm 2 1/2” thread and a full bore design. PVC ball valves are commonly used in civil, commercial, irrigation and swimming pool applications where PVC pipes and fittings are present. Being a ball valve design, these PVC valves allow simple 1/4 turn operations as the handles are rotated. When the PVC ball valves are partially open, they can be used a flow regulator also. The PVC ball valves are generally cheaper than the brass counter parts and provide superior corrosion resistances.

There are two main types of PVC ball valves, threaded and solvent weld types. The threaded type features standard BSP thread and must work with other pipes/fittings/valves with same threads. The solvent weld type can be inserted directly into standard DN sized PVC pipes using special PVC glue and solvent.

It is noted that PVC ball valves have a low temperature rating and must not be used in hot water applications.

While not a native book, gives some ideas on how life would work, from that perspective. has stories about tricksters, which are not dissimilar to native stories. teachingdrum.org used to have a list of books of native stories, which is the most comprehensive I've seen. That is a nonprofit, and I have no connection with them, this cites the info resource only. All storytelling is fascinating. is one example of European stories about animals, which are not totally dissimilar. Stories are fascinating. If you want to entrance, train, entertain, educate, and improve children, nothing is faster or easier than storytelling.

I would recommend this as a high interest type of reader for middle school readers, one that would challenge them as well. The story could be about conflicts today, but the action is naturally more intense. If you are looking for an accurate portrait of Native American life, Bruchac is a wonderful author for you to choose. It is hard to find good books about northeastern Native Americans.
