The process of making 108 mala beads is a slow and deliberate one, where each bead is carefully crafted by hand to ensure its quality and beauty. The first step in making 108 mala beads is selecting the right palm seed beads. Our artisans carefully select each piece of beads to ensure its quality and natural beauty. Once the bead is selected, it is carefully sanded and polished to bring out its natural grain and color. Next, the beads are drilled and strung onto a strong cord. The knotting between each bead is done by hand to ensure that the mala is durable and can withstand regular use.
