  • Launched in 1985, the Amiga ushered in a new age of home computing. Its powerful 16-bit Motorola CPU and custom graphics and audio chipsets made it an instant hit among both gamers looking to move on from their 8-bit systems, and artists and musicians moving into the digital realm.
  • Early titles like Defender of the Crown, Barbarian and Hybris demonstrated the Amiga’s graphics credentials, while arcade-perfect conversions of Marble Madness, Space Harrier and Rainbow Islands showed that it could match the power of dedicated coin-op cabinets. Over the next decade, it would play host to an extraordinary diversity of titles; games like Rocket Ranger, Populous, Cannon Fodder, Speedball and Worms ushered in new genres and helped to redefine the videogame landscape.
  • Over the course of some 420 pages, Commodore Amiga: a visual compendium showcases more than 140 of the biggest titles, bringing them vividly to life with a double-page screen grab or loading page. Each is accompanied by quotes and commentary from renowned Amiga artists, developers and publishers, including R.J. Mical, David Braben, Sid Meier, Ron Gilbert, Julian Eggebrecht, Tobias Richter, Dave Gibbons and many more.
  • Beyond the games themselves, it also covers the origins of the hardware and the vibrant demo scene, and includes interviews with artists and profiles of the most prominent games publishers. Presented in hardback, using high-quality lithographic printing on superior paper stock, this book is a wonderful celebration of the machine’s graphics prowess and a reminder of the wealth of quality games the Amiga brought to bear.

Includes contributions from:

These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. The quality feels great, and they fit perfectly. I can wear them for a long time without discomfort. They look elegant with both casual and dress clothes. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend them to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Shoe
Size: 10.5 Wide, Color: Black Leather/Black
Great shoe! Especially for those that are on the move in a professional setting for a lot of the day. The only issue I’ve had with these so far are my shoe laces are warping. The shoe itself is holding up great.

A great purchase
Size: 10.5, Color: British Tan/Ivory
These shoes are very comfortable and attractive. Lots of people noticed them when I first wore them. I would not consider them the most dressy shoes you can buy, but they work for "business casual" and most other outfits (but not shorts).

All-Day Comfort for 10+ Hour Workdays. Finally Found a Pair That Holds Up
Size: 12, Color: Black Leather/Black, Size: 12, Color: Black Leather/Black
After years of trying different “comfortable” dress shoes, this is the first pair I’ve owned that I can wear for a full 10+ hour workday without counting down the minutes to take them off. For context, I’m a retail district manager. I’m on my feet most of the day walking stores, standing in conversations, moving constantly. I’ve owned Clarks, Rockport, and even higher-end dress shoes, and while some started out comfortable, none of them held up for an entire day without foot fatigue setting in. These Cole Haan shoes are different. What stands out: All-day comfort: No mid-day foot pain, even after long shifts. Solid construction: Genuine leather that takes and holds a polish well. Supportive sole: Noticeably helps with impact from constant walking. Great value: Performs better than shoes I’ve paid significantly more for. I also appreciate that they hit a nice middle ground stylistically; more business casual than formal, but still sharp enough for most professional environments. For additional context, I am a heavier individual and tend to wear down the outer (lateral) edge of my shoes first. That pattern holds true here as well. The only drawback: After about two months of wearing them 5 days a week (purchased January 7th), the sole shows more wear than I would expect at this point. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. I’ll be including a comparison photo between the worn pair and a new pair for reference. That said, I still expect to get around 8–10 months of use out of them, which at this price point is more than fair. Bottom line: If you need a comfortable, reliable, and reasonably priced work shoe for long days on your feet, these outperform just about everything else I’ve tried, and that’s why I bought a second pair.
