I did find it odd that the photos show a third way of hanging them where the brackets are hidden, but it's the only two top shown in the product photo of the hanging options that are shown on the instructions. Color is accurate and holds all my stuff the way I'd hoped/imagined. I wanted shelves that didn't stick out too far from the wall and they're a great fit. Super sturdy!

    I bought the BLACK/GOLD shelves because the ones in the photo seemed to match the drawer pull knobs I bought (shown in photo below). The product arrived neatly packed in a 17x6x4in. box. I can only assume the shelves themselves are great, but I only made it as far as inspecting the metal brackets sitting at the top, they feel heavy duty, which is great, but the product's photo posted in Amazon shows a nice gold finish, and these brackets have a dark mustard paint finish (with a couple blueish speckles sprinkled into it), there's nothing gold/metallic about it. The paint color reminded me of long-gone diaper-changing days. These are getting returned asap.
