In the age of the turbocharger, Honda has finally joined the ranks of forced induction by equipping their tenth generation of the Civic with the L15B7. Where the Earth Dreams technology might be advanced, it still suffers from an age-old enemy -- heat. The stock intercooler utilizes a tube-and-fin construction coupled with plastic end tanks, giving high temperatures a perfect breeding ground. Our intercooler is designed with the Honda enthusiast in mind and eliminates high charged air temperatures that set up shop in the stock intercooler. The all-aluminum, bar-and-plate construction is specifically designed to shrug off heat generated by compressing air into the intake manifold. Our intercooler also has increased the volume by 102% and fin surface area by 97%, which helps drop outlet air temperatures by 20 F over the stock intercooler, and up to 42 F once a performance tune is added. The benefits of our upgraded design don't stop with the temperature drop. Our direct-fit intercooler adds up to 4 hp and 8 ft-lbs of torque when combined with the 2016+ Honda Civic Performance Intercooler Piping, with the potential to boost that power gain to 11 hp and 9 ft-lbs of torque with a tune. Perfect For My Routine

I am retired military, so exercise has always been a part of my daily routine. Since the pandemic I have had to adjust, which is hard because the gym has the equipment I have become accustomed to. I didn’t realize how different it was working out there as when I started to work out at home on my hard wood floors (no carpet anywhere). I thought it would be easy but the military exercise mat is entirely too thin and was making my tailbone hurt tremendously, so I had to give up my sit-ups and some other ab exercises. This kind of threw a wrench into my routine and I could start feeling my motivation go away. I decided to take a look on Amazon for a thicker mat. I should have done this long ago because I found this one I’m writing about. It’s the shape of any typical exercise Matt except it’s 1” thick. It appears to be made of a type of foam (not bothering to look at the description right now). When I pulled it out I thought I was going to sink in making sit-ups even harder but it’s firm but not hard. I like it better than what is at the gym. Durability will be hard to determine until I’ve had it a while but I’m definitely excited to start back up on my exercises.
I recommend this mat if you have hard wood floors, bad back, bad knees, etc.
I thought I read some negative reviews about mats this thick because of yoga and balance but I beg to differ. If balancing is part of your exercise routine, then a mat which makes balance harder is exactly what you want. Exercise is supposed to be challenging and you need to work harder to see a difference. If that isn’t your goal or if balance is a medical issue, this may not be the right mat for you. Something you may not think about is I have chronic foot pain and this mat makes it less painful for me to stand or jump.
For me, this mat is perfect.
