WHAT IS A MARTINGALE COLLAR?
Extensively used in training, the Checkmate will help keep your dog's head from slipping out of the collar when walking or when your dog gets too excited.
This Martingale collar is made with two loops. The larger loop slips onto the dog's neck, and a lead is clipped to the smaller loop. When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the lead pulls the small loop taut. This makes the large loop smaller and tighter on the neck, thus helping to prevent escape.
When the collar is fitted correctly, it will be comfortably loose without your dog noticing it much until the dog begins to pull.
DOG'S COMFORT IN MIND
The Checkmate is made from our soft and durable nylon for comfort around your dog's neck. The webbing is reflective for those late-night training sessions.
Please note: Do not leave the Checkmate Collar on your pup unattended.

For the best fit, measure the neck of your dog.
Please note the X-Large collar's width has changed to 2.5cm.
The collar should fit correctly and be snug on the dog and not too tight.
