Its inverted top and large surface area provide much longer life between maintenance intervals. This media is perfect for street use. The smooth one-piece sealed housing, constructed of heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface. Its innovative design minimizes the total number of parts, making for an easy installation. A large, clear sight window allows for hassle-free filter inspection, without having to disassemble your system. The housing incorporates the factory air inlet scoop. Dual mandrel-bent blue powder-coated aluminum intake tubes direct unrestricted airflow from the filter to the turbos for more horsepower and torque. A hose connects both tubes to balance air intake pressure. A silicone seal piece finishes the inlet of the housing and seals to the hood to block off unwanted hot engine air from entering the air intake system. Premium stainless-steel worm-gear clamps provide the best corrosion resistance possible and premium silicone couplings allows for ample flexibility and guarantee perfect seals. Just wipe this product on and forget it.
I have a 2015 F 150 Platinum with 91,000 miles on it. I use this product to keep the plastic surfaces black. I have unlimited carwash at a local car wash. I get the truck washed at least once a week or more if it gets dusty or dirty. I do keep the truck in a garage.
This product lasts for months per application.
The truck looks like new all the time.
I am very fussy how the truck looks. I buy 2 of these at a time. The shelf life as never failed me. This last order was purchased several years after the one before this one.
