Welcome to Vignobles Meynard! Three generations of winemakers have succeeded one another to create wines that embody the essence of this terroir. Located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, the family estate covers 45 hectares spread over 3 appellations: Bordeaux, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and Saint Emilion.

The product of the reunion of two vinegrowing and winemaking families, the Vignobles Meynard are headed by Christelle and Jean-Francois, who are leading this wine estate on a path of respect for the exquisite Bordeaux winemaking traditions without falling into the traps of complacency and conservatism. The estate is certified organic since 2023, meaning that the vines have been cultivated organically since 2020.

The Vignobles Meynard wines feature Bordeaux wines typicity with a cleanliness, controlled tannic power and an expressive fruitiness and spiciness that reflect the care with which they are produced, from the vineyard to the cellar.

Chateau Roque le Mayne is made of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. It is a complex and aromatic wine with pronounced notes of Morello cherries and a touch of spices. Compared to the Chateau Platon, the other wine we have in this Autumn selection, Roque le Mayne offers a bit more power and a more tannic structure. A great companion for your meat-based dishes, this wine brings you a solid qualitative Bordeaux on the table that will not disappoint.
