One day, your business will be owned by someone else. Your baby, your dream, the thing you have nurtured from infancy through great expansions, through near-death experiences, to what it is today, will be owned and led by someone else.

This book is about taking control of this certainty and choosing the path that will provide the maximum value to you, the owner. And let's be clear: you deserve the maximum value for the business you have built. Your business is a powerful force in the markets and communities you serve.

Robert Wagner, a CPA and business advisor at HoganTaylor LLP, has drawn on more than 30 years of experience as a CFO and M&A advisor to produce 55 value-driving questions that leaders should be asking to make their business better today and on the day they sell it. Many questions point to the heart of value-the certainty and resiliency of future cash flows. Some cover issues that are not deal-breakers but could slow a deal down, introducing additional risk to closing the transaction.

This book is for business owners and key advisors such as CPAs, legal counsel, and bankers who want to drive value into the owner's business, create an attractive company for acquisition, and provide assurance that a deal can be completed expeditiously. This book is also for chief financial officers, controllers, and other executives of small and mid-sized businesses who want to know how to increase their businesses value today and in the future.

Praised by business owners and corporate leaders alike, 55 Questions to Ask Before You Sell Your Business builds a picture of a professionally managed company that is ready for sale.

Superb
Format: Hardcover
A superb selection of Williams' poetry in a handsome and durable small volume. The editor, Robert Pinsky, selected an appropriate spectrum of Williams' verse across his long career, including all his most famous poems. Reading and rereading these poems is always rewarding because of Williams' ability to capture arresting images, experiences, and states of mind. As with all anthologies, some choices may be arguable. I would like to see all of his great, late poem Asphodel included but Pinsky's choices make sense and reflect his sure knowledge of Williams' work. This book is a great addition to the worthy American Poets Project.

Another excellent volume from the American Poets Project
Format: Hardcover
As stated in another one of my reviews, every single Library of America volume I've ever purchased (including volumes from the American Poets Project) have been of the highest quality, superbly executed and just plain beautiful. Already possessing several volumes of William Carlos Williams work, I purchased this compact, delightful volume as a gift for my oldest son (who shares my appreciation for both great literature generally, and poetry specifically). Upon its arrival (delayed, once again, by amazon's ridiculously slow delivery) I was more than pleased, and felt proud to be presenting my son with such a first rate representation of W.C.W.'s work.

they are still as good as they were when they were first written
Format: Kindle
I've been reading William Carlos Williams since the seventies. His poetry was ground breaking at the time of there release, and to me, they are still as good as they were when they were first written. His portrayals of every day people and pastoral scenes are still worth reading. His rhythms in his short poems are worth studying for any poet. I recommend reading his selected Poems.
