THERE'S A BIG LIFE AHEAD OF HER.
CAN SHE FIND THE COURAGE TO LIVE IT?

Emma is twenty-six -- pretty, intelligent, and happily living with her childhood sweetheart John in a cute little Dublin apartment. Her biggest problem is that her mother won't stop nagging her to get married already. Emma and John feel like the perfect couple, their future alive with possibilities. But out of the blue, a tragedy throws her life into disarray -- and Emma is suddenly, incomprehensibly, alone.

As she emerges from grief, Emma has to find a whole new way of living, and her loyal friends rally round in an attempt to help. Clodagh, Emma's lifelong friend, with whom she's shared everything from mud pies to dating disasters. Anne and Richard, more-or-less happily married and debating a move to the country. Emma's brother Noel, the young Catholic priest, finding his own faith tested even as he tries to comfort Emma. Se n, the gorgeous bad boy of a thousand one-night stands, uncomfortably aware of his and Emma's growing connection. Witty, acerbic, and sometimes downright shocking, Emma documents the stories of her friends and her own recovery from grief with a candor that engages the reader from the very first page.

With an amazing insight into the power of friendship and a wry, irreverent humor that considers no subject off-limits, talented new Irish writer Anna McPartlin tells a heartwarming story of the courage it takes to move past loss and learn to live.

Great so far
Size: 6 FT, Color: White
The first thing I liked about this is that the on/off switch has a mark on the ON side, unlike my last Belkin power strip, which had a switch where you couldn't tell which side was on or off. That Belkin was remote, which I really wanted, but the Belkin remote never worked reliably even from the start, so I'm happy with a surge protector without a remote but where I don't have to guess whether it's on or off if I can't see the light on the device plugged into it. Very reliable and solid performance so far and I also especially like the generous amount of space between the outlets - enough for the biggest plug without getting crowded. Also it's not heavy & clunky like some. And the 6 foot cord length works great, too - a big difference with the usual 5 foot cord. Also has 2 USB slots which I can use to charge my iPhone and USB chargers. All this at a decent price and it's not clunky or ugly. Have been using it daily all day for 3 months now with zero problems.

Very Good Purchase
Size: 10 Ft, Color: White
I bought this for my fiancee at the time who had several things to plug in, but did not have the space and would keep rotating plugs. This was able to help her organise the place better and charge multiple things at once. She absolutely loves it. It even has ports for phone chargers, which is very useful. The quality is very good as well. Strong and durable and looks good once you take care of it. Can blend in well and it looks good aesthetically.

Good for DIY projects
Color: Black, Size: 6 FT
Good quality. All works well and seems durable enough and like that it’s easy to replace in future if damaged.
