There is a vanishing figure on the right, to give a sense of transience and the word 'journey' is written in the paint. It's inspired from the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, a walk I know well with my dog who is also hiding in the painting if you can see him.
This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on board, 16" x 20". Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back. This comes in a white wooden floater frame so it is ready to hang.
