This herbal tea has natural cleansing properties and tastes great hot or cold! Be a dedicated Kidney Cleanse & Function teetotaler! Here is some brief information on a few of the herbs in the tea:

Uva-ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), also known as bear’s grape is used in traditional herbal medicine for treatment of early symptoms of mild urinary tract infections such as burning sensation during urination and/or frequent urination. The leaf is the medicinal part of the plant used in this formulation.

Nettle (Urtica dioica) is traditionally used in herbal medicine as a diuretic.

Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), has many medicinal properties and benefits. This herb has antimicrobial and antiviral properties. It is also a great detoxifier and can maintain alkalinity of your blood.

The Kidney Cleanse & Function Tea comes as a loose tea so you can make an entire pot at one time if you prefer and it is a one month supply for a very reasonable price. If you want to support and maintain sound kidney health, this tea is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
Ingredients
Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon) (root) 712 mg, Uva-ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) (leaf) 626 mg, English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) (flower) 569 mg, Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) (leaf) 588 mg, Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) (herb) 569 mg, Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) (root) 468 mg, Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) (root) 468 mg.
Suggested Usage
Drink 2 cups per day, preferably on an empty stomach. Best taken either 30 minutes before a meal or 2 hours after a meal. After the desired results have been attained, drink 1 cup of tea daily for maintenance.

PREPARATION: Measure into a pot enough water for the number of large
cups (about 8oz/250ml) you want to make and add 2 heaping teaspoons
for each cup. Add 25% more water to compensate for evaporation. Make
enough for a few days if you like. When you scoop out the tea, scoop
deep down into the bag to make sure the tea is kept well mixed. Example:
If you want to prepare 4 cups of tea, measure 5 cups of water and 8
heaping teaspoons of tea. Heat on a stove until boiling, then turn stove off
or set to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Stir and allow the tea to
cool, then strain into a pitcher. For best results let it soak for a few hours
or overnight before straining. Store the pitcher in a refrigerator and drink
the tea cold or re-heated. You can put some in a thermos to take along
with you to work. The tea has a pleasing aroma. Tea tastes better without
sugar or sweeteners. If you must have a sweeter taste, use a little honey
or stevia. Do not prepare the tea by pouring hot water over it, since this will
not give you the full benefit.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!

Lasting value but degraded presentation
Format: Paperback
I've been a BBP fan since the first edition in 2005. The second edition in 2007 was a significant update and refinement. The latest, 2011 edition, is not worth buying if you already have the second edition -- the information is essentially the same but the 2011 is printed on cheap paper and the contrast between text and background for most of the illustrations is lousy, e.g. black text on a dark grey background, white text on a light grey background. I found it very difficult to read. The online version (O'Reilly Safari Books OnLine) is slightly better because it allows you to magnify the low contrast images which makes them slightly more legible. Thankfully, access to the online version is included with the ink-on-paper book free via a scratch-off, lottery ticket-type insert at the back of the book. If I had to do it again, I'd skip the paper book from Amazon and just purchase electronic access via O'Reilly. This version is more legible and you can print important pages that you might want hard copies of to highlight, mark-up, etc.
