Nancy Mehagian teaches gourmet cooking classes and has been a health care practitioner in Los Angeles for over thirty-five years. Haile Thomas is the host of "Kids Can Cook" and has collaborated with chef Alice Waters to create healthy menus for children at Hyatt Hotels. She sits on the Youth Advisory Board for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, was a Food Network "Kids Cook Off" contestant and was a featured speaker at the 2013 Sages and Scientists Symposium. Terrific addition to your backpacking gear
I like this map holder for its versatility in holding different size maps. Once sealed, it was very effective at keeping moisture out and protecting the maps. I originally used this on a 13K mountain ascent. Worked great. The only thing that can be tricky at times is sealing the top. It's not as easy as sealing a typical zip-loc kitchen bag, takes some doing to get it to seal.
