Thirty-Three: A Poetic Device is a poetry journal. Journaling has always been a creative and therapeutic outlet for us as women. We wrote in diaries as young girls, and now we have something for the thirty-three-year-old version of ourselves. Authors Angelica Howard and Ajia Z. Johnson let the poetic emotions of their younger selves motivate them to create this poetic device with the intention to inspire and provoke thought no matter how good, bad, or ugly that may be; journaling helps to get it out. Howard and Johnson encourage readers to honor their own thoughts through the journal prompts. Life is what you make it, and when you are intentional about your desires, by writing them down and making them plain, magic happens.

About the Author

Angelica Howard is a thirty-three-year-old educator and entrepreneur. She is a student of life whose main goal is to expose young people to culture, art, balance, and discipline. Throughout her ten years of teaching English, public speaking, debate, and life skills, she is now a graduation coach where she encourages and prepares young people to be college and career ready. 

Ajia is a thirty-three-year-old wife and mom of five. She is an entrepreneur and certified life coach. After being forced to retire from styling hair due to an injured wrist, she began putting her all into her first passion, which is words, essentially writing books and speaking. She most recently launched a podcast called Alchemy with Ajia Z. and hosts group and one-on-one life-coaching sessions for men and women of all ages. 

Ajia and Angelica started a lifestyle brand called Heirlvnd that provides tools for building generational wealth through fashion.

So I bought this backlight a few months ago and it's been one of my favorite purchases I ever made on Amazon. Honestly, once you start using the backlight, it's so hard to go back. It makes TV and games just so much more immersive, especially when there are bright scenes and the lights flash, or when there are dark scenes and it just goes completely black. The setup is really easy but it does take some precision to get it right the first time and to keep it working for a long time. And sometimes the things that stick the wires to the back of the TV do like to fall off. Although that may be a consequence of how my TV is built. I think it looks best in a darker room where there's less space for the light to go away, especially when the TV is against a wall. But that's how I use it, and it's been just an amazing experience. The app functionality is also pretty good, although I don't use it as much these days and I just keep it in TV syncing mode. The lights can get really bright, so if you want to, you can use it as a separate ambient lighting for your room. Although personally, I think that's too much effort and I just use my lamp. Coming from someone who uses his TV a lot, if you're on the fence, just get it

This is exactly what it was in the listing. It was very easy to install they stick to the back of the tv very well. The lights strip is good quality and they wont fall off the tv even from the heat.. The app is easy to use. Will say there are a lot of options to control it from the app. Once the control box is behind the tv your not going to be reaching back there to turn it off and on. I have mine connected to Alexa and Google so i can control them with my voice. They look great for watching movies even in a somewhat lit room. Be mindful of the camera on the top of the tv I did have to calibrate it 7 times cause it wasn't picking up all the corners and i accidentally hit the camera while walking around if your tv is on the wall you have nothing to worry about unless you have my first issue of it not catching the corners properly. The little orange squares don't stick too well especially since i had to do this several times. Even tried it without the squares and still had problems. The video was recorded after the second time of calibrating it. The problem comes when you try to get the hue right. Everything white makes the lights turn red so i had to mess with the saturation and the white balance on color calibration feature on the app to get it as close as possible to the white on the tv and its still something i have to adjust ever time i watch something.(Shown in the second picture)

Effective & Attractive with Wireless Charging

This "valet" organizer, which is the first time I've heard that term for a product like this, is nearly perfect. For me, it checks all of the boxes and in a perfect world, I would have opted for a smaller piece with only three compartments for mobile, wallet, and keys. It's well made and quite attractive, especially the blue (favorite color, so I'm biased). The only feature I'm not a fan of is how the removeable, wireless charging pad was implemented, which sits up on a small lip at a slight incline. However, I'm not complaining one bit as the wireless charging is great, and it's a differentiator that determines the value of the piece. I would have preferred the pad be built into the piece, however the angle of it does make it easy to grab opposed to using your finger(s) to pry it up.
