A Suite of Nigerian Songs for Cello Solo and DuetThis is a collection of five cello solos and four cello duos based on Nigerian folksongs and indigenous hymn tunes. In this collection, there is something interesting for every level of cello performer. This is a collection of five cello solos and four cello duos based on Nigerian folksongs and indigenous hymn tunes. In this collection, there is something interesting for every level of cello performer. The cello solos are easy, while the intermediate and advanced performers would enjoy playing both the solos and duets at concerts and divine services. The theme of the first piece, Ise Oluwa (The Work of the Lord), is derived from a popular Christian hymn tune ascribed to the father of Nigerian church music, Thomas Ekundayo Phillips (1884-1969). It is herein arranged for cello solo, cello and piano, and two cellos. The second piece, Gbo Ohun Awon Angeli (Hear the Voices of Angels), is based on another Nigerian hymn tune. It is arranged for cello solo and cello duet. Honor Your Mother is a derivation of a didactic song extracted from a folktale, in which children are admonished to honor and respect their mothers, and vehemently discouraged from being rude to their mothers. The principal theme, ÒOmo to mo iya re lÕoju o, osi ni o tÕomo na paÓ (The child that looks disrespectfully at her/his mother, will indeed live a miserable life), is arranged for a solo cello and cello duo. The final piece, The Village Dance, is an exciting, lively, and captivating work based on a Yoruba folksong, ÒOwo o, Omo o, ma mÕomo se ireÓ (Money and children are both desired; I will embrace and revere them). The thematic material is arranged for cello solo and cello duet. It is the most advance and complex of the nine pieces infused with intricate rhythmic patterns, contrapuntal techniques, canonic imitations, and brief transition of tonal centers from the home key of F major at the beginning to D-flat major, B-flat major, and finally finds repose in the home key of F major in measure 89 through the end.

Sleeping like a dream!
Size: Queen
We stayed at a Westin hotel recently and usually I don't sleep well when traveling but this overnight stay was heaven! I don't know what magic is in these pillows but they are a dream! I sleep in my side and these are perfect, I sleep the entire night with no back or neck issues. I've tried some expensive pillows from Sealy, Serta, etc, and nothing compared to the Westins! So glad these are available through the Westin Amazon store! And less expensive than anything else I've tried.

Not the same as hotel pillows.
Size: King
Ordered this pillow after staying at a Westin hotel. I should have returned it because it seemed different from the pillow at the hotel. It feels worn out and doesn’t keep its shape. Would not recommend.

Big high pillow, firmer than expected.
Size: Queen
This pillow could be a 5 for some people , and it was a 1 for us. Too high for our neck. Side sleepers. It’s probably very good for a back sleeper.

Sleep like in heaven. Every cent worth
Size: Queen
First time a slept on that pillow was on a trip to D. C. and we stayed in a Westin hotel. The best quality of beds, mattress and pillows I ever had!!! On the next morning I told the receptionist how great I slept and they told me, it’s to order. And the funny part is, they called “heavenly”

Gave it 6 month trial before review
Size: Queen
I find it hard to believe these pillows are what is used in the hotels. I like Westin hotel pillows, but they are heavier than this particular pillow. I have used it for 6 months, now it flattens out and just feels like lightweight fluff with no support. It was good for about a month. I try to fluff it up every night to give some lift but I feel this will be thrown away soon. The search goes on.
