"You are not only what you eat, but what your food eats and that is more important than anything."

When you consume our lamb, you are not only eating delicious, nutritious pastured protein. You are eating lamb that has spent its life consuming the same medicinal herbs prescribed by nutritionists as supplements for optimal health:

  • Astragalus
  • Echinacea
  • Licorice Root
  • Rose Hips
  • Goldenrod
  • Yarrow
  • Bergamont
  • Mallow
  • and many more!

You can pre-order your pasture raised lamb anytime, but we only butcher in September and October because we work with the natural cycles.

Thank you for becoming part of our Farm Family, now let your journey begin!

Half Lamb - What to expect (x 2 for full lamb)

  • Pricing is $9.99/lb x lamb hanging weight (average weight of 25 lbs - 35 lbs)
  • Average Total Price: $249.75 - $349.65. We require a non-refundable deposit of $125 and will tell you for the balance once the butcher gives us the exact hanging weight. The fees for cutting and wrapping are not included in our per pound pricing and will be calculated prior to pick-up or delivery.
  • Because we work with a quality custom butcher, you choose your cuts! For example, if you'd prefer more ground lamb and less roasts, stew/kebab meat, etc., just ask for these cuts to be ground instead.
  • A half would take up approximately half of the freezer portion of an average fridge freezer

Our price is based off hanging weight which refers to the weight after dressing (removing skin, organs, etc.).

What you take home depends on:

  • moisture lost during dry-aging
  • if you take organs and bones
  • if you ask for cuts to be deboned

Our half lamb is roughly 25-35 lbs. hanging weight (about 50-60 pounds for a whole lamb).

Here is a list of the various cuts you can receive:

  • Lamb chops (or rack of lamb)
  • Leg of lamb
  • Shoulder roast
  • Shanks (highly recommend!)
  • Ground lamb or stew/kebab
  • Ribs
  • Soup bones
  • Organ meats (optional, or you can have added to your ground lamb for even more nutrient density!)
  • Remember, this is just a guide, and you choose how you want things cut! We're happy to help fill out your cutting instructions and answer any questions that you have!

What You Gain From This Purchase Aside From The Best Lamb You'll Ever Eat

- Consultation with your new farm family. We can set up a time to chat, if you need! We will help you with any questions you have (freezer space, how to determine what cuts you would like, if this amount of meat will be enough to serve your family, etc. ). We can also discuss delivery and pickup!

- Relationship with your new farm family

- The knowledge that your purchase helps further improve your health, the health of the land, animals and in return the food you purchase each year.

- The knowledge that your purchase is helping us grow the next generation of young farmers that we hope will be more passionate and more knowledgeable than the previous generation.

Please note that the price DOES NOT INCLUDE cutting and wrapping, as these fees can vary widely depending on your cutting instructions.

You can request delivery within Manitoba for a fee calculated once we have the weight of your package or you can pick up on farm or at the butcher. At checkout, it will show FREE shipping (This is only because we cannot determine price of shipping until the weight of product is determined). We will keep in contact with you!

Great insight on what happened at Blizzard but...
Format: Kindle
My main issue with the book is the lack of non-american stories that explained the bigger picture. As a former Blizzard dev, there's much more than what happened in Irvine and Korea, with Europe's office mentioned almost as a footnote, and nothing else from the other regional stories. Shame but I guess the book would've been double the size.

Insightful inside scoop of Blizzard
Format: Audiobook
An intriguing, well-written exploration of Blizzard’s history and its staff, from inception to modern day, and their design decisions, successes and failures along the way. I loved the many quoted insights, and learning more than just the surface level story that might be found on typical gaming news outlets.

This book really helps organize a process that is inherently chaotic
Format: Kindle
I'm working on a series of novels about a world of talking animals that grows up after humans die out from complications of climate change. Every species has its own culture. I got through the first book and well into the second before I realized that I needed some way to codify all the cultural details. I had lots of ideas, but no way to organize them, and as I moved towards the third book of the series, which would require creating seven or eight whole cultures, I was feeling overwhelmed. Creating Life and the free templates the author provides as a download are proving to be very useful tool. I look forward to reading the other two books in this series, too.

An excellent book
Format: Kindle
I am a new fantasy fiction writer, and the detail of this book really helped me out very much. As I was searching Amazon for a book on this topic, this was one of the few that stood out. The author also offers continuous lessons on world building through his free newsletter, which I also find helpful. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Randy. L.M. Montes

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources
Format: Kindle
Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)
