Six Questions Your Flame Broiler Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit business plan template in Microsoft Word based on our own analysis of the healthy fast food franchise business plan model. All six chapters are pre-populated with researched data specific to opening a new location, projecting Year 1 revenue of $640,000 and reaching break-even in just 4 months. The entire document is fully editable, allowing you to tailor the plan to your specific territory, funding needs, and operational strategy.

Executive Summary: What is the core business case for opening this franchise unit?

The business case is to establish a premier 'clean eating' fast-casual restaurant in Austin's high-demand Mueller district, targeting a dense population of medical professionals, fitness enthusiasts, and young families with a proven, health-focused menu and modern convenience.

Key Opportunity Drivers

  • High-visibility location near Dell Children's Medical Center.
  • Proven brand concept with a 'no frying, no skin' philosophy.
  • Targeted value propositions for specific, high-value customer segments.
[dynamic_pic9]

Products & Services: What does the franchise unit sell and why will customers choose it?

The unit sells high-protein, flame-grilled rice bowls, plates, and customized meal prep packages centered around a simple, healthy menu. Customers choose it for its strict 'clean eating' commitment, transparent open-kitchen preparation, and the speed of its dedicated mobile-order pickup lane.

Core Offerings

  • Chicken and Beef Bowls, projected at $220,000 and $120,000 in first-year sales.
  • Customized post-workout meal prep packages for fitness partners.
  • A focused menu of drinks and sides to complement the main offerings.
[dynamic_pic10]

Market Analysis: Who are the local customers and what is the competitive landscape?

The primary customers are medical professionals from nearby hospitals, fitness enthusiasts from local gyms, and young families in the Mueller residential area. While the Austin market is competitive, this unit targets a specific 'clean eating' niche underserved by traditional QSRs, focusing on health-conscious and time-pressed consumers.

Target Customer Segments

  • Medical professionals seeking nutritious meals during busy shifts.
  • Fitness enthusiasts looking for high-protein, post-workout options.
  • Eco-conscious consumers who value sustainable and healthy food choices.
[dynamic_pic11]

Marketing & Sales Plan: How will the unit attract and retain customers?

Customer acquisition will be driven by hyper-local digital marketing, strategic partnerships with local fitness studios, and the 'Fuel Your Hustle' loyalty program targeting healthcare workers. Retention will be supported by fast, convenient service via the mobile-order pickup lane and consistent community engagement.

Key Acquisition Channels

  • Hyper-local social media campaigns focused on Austin's wellness culture.
  • Partnerships with local gyms to promote customized meal prep packages.
  • A loyalty program offering exclusive rewards to medical professionals.
[dynamic_pic12]

Management & Organization: Who will run the unit and how will it be staffed?

The unit will be run by an experienced Store Manager and an Assistant Manager, overseeing a team of crew members that scales from 3.5 full-time equivalents (FTEs) in Year 1 to 6.0 FTEs by Year 5. This structure ensures consistent execution of brand standards, efficient open-kitchen operations, and excellent customer service.

Core Staffing Plan

  • One full-time Store Manager with an annual salary of $65,000.
  • One full-time Assistant Manager with an annual salary of $52,000.
  • A team of Crew Members to handle food prep, service, and cleaning.
[dynamic_pic13]

Financial Plan & Metrics: What is the required investment and projected financial performance?

The total startup investment is estimated from key capital expenditures like the $35,000 franchise fee and $220,000 in leasehold improvements. The financial model projects the unit will achieve positive EBITDA of $134,000 in Year 1 on revenues of $640,000, reach break-even in 4 months, and deliver a full payback in 5 years.

Key Financial Metrics

  • Projected Year 1 Revenue: $640,000, growing to over $1.4M by Year 5.
  • Franchise Fees: A 5% royalty fee and a 3% marketing fee on gross sales.
  • Payback Period: The initial investment is projected to be returned within 5 years.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!! Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.
