Hospital Productions presents a reissue of K2's The Rust, originally released in 1996. From it's imposing cover featuring massive Japanese characters fading from red to orange to yellow in a descending gradient to the title itself, rust would not have been enough for this edifice of decay. It is the rust, the final rust, the purest rust. The presentation only reiterates that this work is process driven, that it does not stop moving, clinging, falling, eroding, and covering it's subject. As moisture turns metal to dust, this is Kimihide Kusafuka's grand mastering of decay. The Rust is a four-part cut-up metal junk noise classic. Not to be confused with the typical high octane '70s psych rock-obsessed outpourings by many of Japan's more well-known noise elite, K2 has settled on a physical process of his own that gets at the inner workman surrounded by the urban accumulation of not-so-precious metals. Like the towering waterfront refinery, or the wrought iron fence outside one's door that they may pass on their way to a busy morning routine, The Rust grinds away and piles on multi-track recordings that are violent and caustic and physical yet totally arcane in their construction. How was this made? Was K2 the executor of a junkyard? Has he lived among the ruins of automobiles, or perhaps locomotives based on the sheer dynamic range and scale of the rust? But that would be too misleading as when the gates open, naked moments are heard of isolated scraping and the unmistakable clutter of metal on metal sounds, pounded by human fists. The beating of metal is coated in feedback solvents and slashed with flange by Kusafuka's self-described "Friktor" device that apparently exhumes the soul of any aluminum, steel, and cast-iron sheets. These liberated industrial 'neighbors' that we live among and construct our dwelling places with ascend to spheres and cities of their own. The rust will crush you with it's weight, it will question the scale of your body, and it will cut away at your patience of watching water erode metal to dust. Recorded 1996 in Chiba, Japan for Kinky Music Institute, The Rust appears here on vinyl for the first time, faithfully remastered by Kris Lapke (Alberich). Smart, powerful and worth the price 👍

This robot vacuum has exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite features is how thin it is it reaches under furniture that my previous robot could never access. The suction is incredibly powerful and does an excellent job picking up pet hair, dust, and debris from both hard floors and rugs. The mopping function is surprisingly effective, especially with the hot-water cleaning that helps tackle dried-on spots and everyday messes. I’ve also noticed how intelligently it moves around the house, avoiding obstacles without constantly getting stuck. The self-cleaning dock takes care of most of the maintenance, which makes the whole experience much more convenient. Setup was straightforward, and the app gives plenty of customization options. Overall, it’s a reliable, hands-off cleaning solution that keeps my floors looking great with very little effort from me.

Don't toss mop pad holders after a pooptastrophie & take a pic or video for proof

I’ve been using the DREAME X60 Max Ultra Complete Robot Vacuum and Mop for a while now, and it genuinely felt like a major upgrade from previous robot cleaners.
The first thing that stands out is the 35,000Pa suction power—it handles fine cat and dog hair, even on plush carpets. Compared to other models I've had, the cleaning performance is noticeably stronger and more consistent.
The ultra-thin 3.13-inch design is another big win. It reaches under most beds, sofas, and low furniture where dust usually accumulates. It takes some time to program these details into the vacuum.
I was very impressed by the fully automated system:
• Self-emptying dustbin
• Automatic water refilling
• Mop self-cleaning
This significantly reduces manual maintenance—you can go days (or longer) without needing to intervene. Until one Sunday evening, I decided to run the unit in the bathroom I share with my cats' automatic litter box, sight unseen. My cat pooped on the floor right in front of her litter box. Over the past two months, the unit has been good about avoiding wires, my black UGG slippers (the unit thought was an uncleanable mess), and my animals. As I was preparing dinner, I noticed the unit sounded a bit strange and clicky. Cat poo wafted through the air as I saw the unit flinging feces into the air and across the area in a sand-like spray. I thought the unit sucked up the poo, but it was mostly dispersed throughout the bathroom floor, baseboards, and walls. The poo was partially dry when the machine discovered it. By the time I discovered the machine, the mop pads and wheels were caked. I put on some gloves, pulled the mop pads off, tossed them in the trash, and proceeded to clean the machine carefully and gently for the next two hours. The next day, I called customer service, and when I asked for them to send me replacement mop pad holders, they said don't worry about it, we will send a new unit after you provide the info we request in an email. It wasn't until the next day that I got an email back asking for pictures and video of the pootastrophie. I didn't take a picture or video because I trusted that the machine caught it on video and labeled the poo as large particles or something. The next time I logged in, the history and video of Sunday night's ordeal were erased. I'm not sure if there was an update. I received an email today saying they don't have the mop pad holders; instead, they offered to give me more mop pads and dust bags. I can't use the mop function, which is half of the reason I got the unit.
**** Update Friday, May 8, 2026: My claim was escalated after I refused the extra mop pad holders and dustbags nix the mop pad holder. They are following through with replacing the unit and returning the pooptastrophy unit for testing. Will post updates.

Already impressed after the first few runs

I opened this almost immediately after it arrived because I’d been wanting to replace my older robot vacuum for a while. Setup was pretty straightforward and the app connected faster than I expected.
The first thing I noticed was how accurate the mapping is. It mapped my apartment surprisingly well on the first run and didn’t randomly bump into everything like my previous one did. Navigation feels smooth and organized instead of chaotic.
Cleaning performance has been really good so far too. It picked up a lot more dust and pet hair than I realized was on the floor, and the mopping feature actually leaves the floor looking fresh instead of just lightly wiping it.
The self-emptying and self-cleaning features are honestly the best part for me. I barely have to think about it once it starts running. Feels like one of those purchases that actually saves time every day.
So far I’m really happy with it and already wondering why I waited this long to get one.

Better after replacement

I have tried to like it but it just keeps disappointing me. For the price I really expected to be able to handle my 1 floor apartment. It refuses to clean under my couches (they are 5” off the floor so enough space), it has mopped my carpet and it keeps getting lost. It couldn’t find the base and it was right in front of it for about an hour until I finally just manually put it back. I’ve only had it running for about a week and I’ve played with the settings and tried so many different things to get it to just throughly clean my floors. It is pretty and when it does clean it’s effective and it does work on my shag rug which is a feat. I just don’t trust it to work properly when I’m not home, which sucks.
Edit: Dreame reached out and tried to troubleshoot the vacuum. After the vacuum was still acting weird so they offered to replace it and a discount, which I will be taking advantage of. I really want it to work since it has powerful suction and 2 brushes. The brushes are truly tangle free, I didn’t find a single hair on the brushes after 2 weeks and I shed a lot. Plus it looks so pretty. I’ll give another update after the new vacuum.
Edit: The new vacuum is working much better. It cleaned better under my couch and has had to errors. It started to even clean even more thoroughly under the couch when I pinned up the fabric that's under the couch. I would suggest to do this so the sensors can more effectively see. I'm glad I gave it another chance.

Great value
Color: 14Pcs Eufy E25/E28/C28 Bags
These worked flawlessly with my eufy vacuum, no suction issues or anything. They seem to be just as durable, plus the same size as the name brand ones but at a fraction of the prize. It was very easy to use them. Just pop the old one out and pop this one in. Over all I’d say these are a great value for the money. Same size, same quality, much better value.
