Set in a Ukranian village in the year 1649, this haunting play takes place in the aftermath of a pogrom. Only two Jews, Berish the innkeeper and his daughter Hannah, have survived the brutal Cossack raids. When three itinerant actors arrive in town to perform a Purim play, Berish demands that they stage a mock trial of God instead, indicting Him for His silence in the face of evil. Berish, a latter-day Job, is ready to take on the role of prosecutor. But who will defend God? A mysterious stranger named Sam, who seems oddly familiar to everyone present, shows up just in time to volunteer. The idea for this play came from an event that Elie Wiesel witnessed as a boy in Auschwitz: "Three rabbis--all erudite and pious men--decided one evening to indict God for allowing His children to be massacred. I remember: I was there, and I felt like crying. But there nobody cried." Inspired and challenged by this play, Christian theologians Robert McAfee Brown and Matthew Fox, in a new Introduction and Afterword, join Elie Wiesel in the search for faith in a world where God is silent.

Good pillow, useless case

Nice pillow, small and portable. No horrible smell. Negative 1 star for the carrying case which is twice the size of the pillow. If you think you will use it to compress your pillow for travel, think again. It just expands back in the bag. Totally useless unless you’d like to store rocks in the bag instead.

A Travel Pillow That Actually Works!

I fly fairly often and have gone through a few different pillows that I thought would be great but left me disappointed! I’m honestly so happy with this pillow. It fits easily in my backpack, and it doesn’t look ridiculous if I hanging it on my backpack if I’m packing a lot. It’s thick enough to support my head against the window/wall without feeling too bulky. I usually sleep really poorly on planes, and I’m not going to say that this was the magic charm, but I definitely slept more comfortably. It’s also great support against your lower back if you’re not sleeping. Some have mentioned a smell, but honestly it just smells like memory foam usually does and it’s not overpowering. I’ve only used for a few flights so far but I love it!

Nice travel pillow

Works well as a pillow to support my elbow while I’m driving. It was too full to use as a pillow to place my head on at night since I am a side sleeper. There is no way to remove some of the memory foam to make it flat enough to use as my bedtime pillow. I liked the soft pink zippered cover as it works well and makes it easy to remove and wash. I didn’t notice any smell.
