The large mophead panicle flowers' color can be various shades depending on the PH of the soil in acidic soils the flowers will be blue while alkaline flowers will be vivid purple and bloom throughout summer on old wood. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well drained soils. Note: The flowers may be pink in neutral
