This new jar design is quieter than the polycarbonate and also includes the new 2-piece venting lid that allows you to add ingredients while your Blendtec blender is running. The double wing-tipped 3-inch blade powers through ice, fruit, and ice cream for the perfect smoothie texture. This new Blendtec Jar is NSF-Certified warranted for commercial and home use (1 year for the container, lifetime warranty for blade and coupling). Blendtec J2 part number: 40-609-60 (venting mix in lid standard with EZ and SpaceSaver). Standard (ounces and cups) markings on left side of the handle. Metric (milliliters) markings on right side. These ain’t gonna hold in a fupa or anything, but they do compliment natural curves. I’d leave a pic but not for free 😉
