UK country superstars, The Shires, release their hotly anticipated second album My Universe, out on 7 October 2016 and available now to pre-order. The debut track, entitled Beats To Your Rhythm, is a heartfelt but infectious summer smash which will have fans across the UK singing along in seconds with it's handclaps, catchy chorus, stomping drums and rousing backing vocal hook. The tune and album alike showcase The Shires trademark beautiful harmonies, which come naturally to Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes who share lead vocals and blend their voices together to perfection. With the release of their debut album Brave in 2015, The Shires became the biggest-selling country act in the UK last year (including US artists), and one of the biggest-selling breakthrough UK acts of any genre along with James Bay, Years and Years and Jess Glynn. Ben and Crissie continued to build a huge following, in fans and critics alike, landing 5 A list singles at BBC Radio 2 and appearing on a string of high profile TV shows including Graham Norton, BBC Music Awards, Children in Need Rocks and many more. The band were then given their first headline slot at Glastonbury this summer, topping the bill on the Acoustic Stage on Saturday night. Perfect Compact Size and Smooth Efficient Grind
I absolutely love these salt and pepper grinders! They are perfectly-sized, less cumbersome than most 12"+ sized grinders. They're wide enough to hold more than it looks like they hold, which means less refilling required. The grind is smooth and flawless - it usually only takes me one quick single-hand- motion to season my plate. I use pink Himalayan salt, and black peppercorns, and can adjust it easily to suit my or my husband's grind preferences. These grinders are pretty enough to set out on a table for dinner guests, while being quick and efficient for ourselves.

Perfect Salt & Pepper Grinders
Size: 2.5" x 5.1"
Excellent design, size and function, plus they have CLEAR PLASTIC TOPS so you can easily see how much ground salt or pepper you have to sprinkle on your food. After using my first set I knew I needed another set for different combinations of pepper corns in particular. Oh, and they come with an extra set of ceramic grinding wheels (yes, ceramic, not plastic as a few reviewers falsely claim). Very smooth operation and adjustable from fine to coarse sizes. Here's my recommendation for use. First, use quality coarse salt and whole pepper corns. Second, don't grind with lid off over hot steaming food while cooking because the steam will negatively effects the salt and pepper in the grinders, the grind quality you get, and will ultimately clog the grinders. Just grind with lid on until you get the required amount (hence the need for the clear caps), open the caps and sprinkle. Easy peasy... ☺
