This collar is compatible with the following PetSafe In-Ground Fence systems: PIG00-14673, PIG00-13661, PIG00-10777, PIG20-11041, PCF-1000-20 and PIG00-14582.
Not compatible with PetSafe Wireless, PetSafe UltraSmart, PetSafe YardMax or Innotek systems.

The only minor downside is that it's on the heavy side, probably because of the magnets. But unless you're travelling with it (I've switched to a small Fire tablet for travel), that won't be an issue. Highly recommended.
